Bindi Contracts Department
Bindi Contracts provides supply chain management for local and national businesses requiring contractual processing, packaging, and labelling services.
Through Bindi's contract with Australia's national air carrier, Qantas, a group of diligent workers refurbish and package headsets.
In association with Australia Post, Bindi Contracts fills a gap in mail delivery services to town camps in Alice Springs. The program also helps people develop and improve their numeracy, literacy, communication and organisational skills whilst giving them an opportunity to interact with their local community.
Supported employees also provide secure document shredding services to local businesses in Alice Springs.
Bindi Workshop
The Bindi Workshop is a timber product and furniture workshop, upcycling waste products and providing construction and cabinet making services. Supported workers learn a variety of skills producing metal pressings for Stratco, assembling wheelbarrows for Bunnings and building funeral crosses for remote Aboriginal communities. The Workshop also produces the iconic Bindi tucker boxes and serving platters.
Bindi Enterprises is committed to delivering innovative services and supporting people to achieve the best in life skills, training, professional and purposeful opportunities that are equal and celebrate ability.
