Lifestyle Solutions welcomes the Disability Royal Commission
The Disability Royal Commission was established in April 2019 in response to community concern about widespread reports of violence against, and the neglect, abuse and exploitation of, people with disability.
As one of Australia’s largest providers of disability services and supports Lifestyle Solutions welcomes the genuine opportunity that the Disability Royal Commission presents to bring about transformational change to achieve a more inclusive society that recognises the dignity, autonomy, equality and freedom of choice for people with disability.
This change will help Lifestyle Solutions to achieve our purpose and a society in which “everyone is equal”.
We support the Commissioners’ view that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to shine a light on abuse of people with disability.
